We invite you to contribute to the Joint International Research Conference 2025, co-hosted by Bulawayo Polytechnic and the University of Venda. Submission Guidelines
We welcome submissions in the following formats:
- Research Papers: Present findings that advance knowledge in the conference sub-themes.
- Poster Presentations: Showcase innovative ideas in a visually engaging format.
- Workshops & Demonstrations: Engage participants with hands-on or interactive sessions.
- Exhibitions: Highlight your projects, products, or services relevant to the conference topics.

Your submission should align with one or more of the following sub-themes:
- Innovation and Technology Transfer in Higher Education
- Higher Education’s Role in Industrialisation
- Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Economic Development
- Quintuple Public-Private Partnerships for Economic Growth
- Higher Education for Sustainable Development
Important Dates
- Start of Submissions: December 1, 2024
- Submission Deadline: Extended to January 27, 2025
- Notification of Acceptance: January 15, 2025
- PowerPoint Submission Deadline: February 10, 2025
- Full Paper Submission Deadline: February 17, 2025
Format of Abstracts
- Prepare your abstract in English (200 to 300 words), typed in single space, Times New Roman, Font size 12.
- The abstract should clearly indicate the alignment with the theme and subthemes of the conference. Please indicate the sub-theme under which your presentation falls.
- A maximum of two abstracts per person will be accepted for the Conference. The abstract should be followed by 3-5 Keywords.
- Only registered presenters will be included in the Conference Programme & Abstract Book.
